Adding a Widget to Squarespace or Wix: A Quick Guide for Installers

Squarespace and Wix are both fully capable of hosting an embedded calculator — the process just looks a little different on each platform.

See it on a real page

Try the live calculator embedded exactly as your customers would see it.

Adding it on Squarespace

Add a “Code Block” to the page where the calculator should appear, then paste the embed snippet directly into it — Squarespace renders the block's contents on the live page exactly as provided.

Adding it on Wix

Use the “Embed a Widget” or “HTML iframe” element from the Wix editor's add-elements menu, paste the snippet in, and resize the element on the page as needed to fit your layout.

A tip that applies to both platforms

Preview the live page (not just the editor) after adding the embed, since both platforms can apply their own layout constraints that affect how an embedded element displays.
